Foreign Local Studio was born between two places: Australia, where our story began, and Nashville, the city that changed it.

Moving across the world meant learning how to build a new life, find community, and create a sense of home somewhere unfamiliar. Over time, Nashville became more than a place to live, it became proof that home isn’t always where you’re born. Sometimes, it’s the place that shapes you, the people who welcome you, and the life you have the courage to create.

That experience became the foundation of Foreign Local Studio.

Through design, photography, and film, we help artists and brands tell stories that feel honest, distinctive, and deeply connected to who they are. Our work is shaped by an Australian beginning, a Nashville perspective, and the belief that creativity has the power to connect people across cultures, communities, and places.
